Water Pipe Leak in Woodland Hills, CA

August 31, 2009

Went out to check on a leaking water main in Woodland Hills, CA. It turned out to be a leak in an old galvanized water main under the sidewalk in front of my customers house. We replaced that old rusty leaking galvanized pipe with some shiny brand new copper pipe that should last for 75 years! Put down a nice cement patch in the sidewalk, and the only way you could tell we were there was by the absence of water leaking on my customers property!

Leak under sink in Woodland Hills, Ca

August 10, 2009

A leak under a sink can cause a lot of damage to your home, especially if its on the second story. Good thing my customer noticed it before things got out of control! I replaced the water shut off valves under the sink, the water supply lines, the pop-up assembly tailpiece and trap. Good as new with a one year parts and labor warranty!

Woodland Hills Pressure Regulator

August 8, 2009

Replaced a regulator in Woodland Hills, CA yesterday. Did you know the pressure in your house should never be over 80 psi? Manufacturers build faucets, toilet parts, dishwasher valves, etc. to comply to the Universal Plumbing Code which requires water pressure inside buildings to be 80 PSI or less. Most manufacturers only build their parts to meet these minimum requirements. To protect your home from leaks and water damage you should always make sure your pressure regulator is in good working order. Another tip from your friendly Woodland Hills Plumber.
